Freedoms Foundation Summer Program Seminars

Are you looking for a more immersive professional development opportunity and the chance to earn graduate credit? Why not spend a week learning more about the Medal of Honor and its legacy. During the months of June and July, Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge will offer six different courses highlighting different parts of the history of the Medal of Honor. There is a cost for the course, but a limited number of scholarships are available, so apply early. Click the register button for more information!

Clarksville, Tennessee Training

This full day training will provide you with all the tools you need to bring the Medal of Honor Character Development Program into your classroom. This flexible, cross-curricular resource, which uses the Oral Histories of Medal of Honor Recipients, focuses on how students can use these examples of courage, commitment, sacrifice, integrity, citizenship and patriotism to influence change in their own communities. There is no cost for attendance; your school can be reimbursed for the cost of your substitute teacher. Middle and High School teachers from all subject areas along with counselors, coaches, and administrators are invited to attend.
