National Medal of Honor Day and Citizen Honors Awards

The Medal of Honor Recipients award three United States citizens the "Citizen Service Before Self Honors" near the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington Cemetery every year on Medal of Honor Day, March 25. Two awards are given for a single selfless act and one is given for lifelong service to one's fellow man.
