The Congressional Medal of Honor Society is committed to providing outreach and education programs that address resiliency, educate America’s youth, and reach our military, veteran and business communities.
Veterans Outreach Program (VOP)
This program is designed to target resilience and wellness challenges faced by Veterans and active duty service members. Medal of Honor Recipients partner with service and support agencies addressing mental health, alcohol and substance abuse, and behavioral health issues. The VOP helps our nation’s warriors transition to civilian life at no cost to the program’s partner organizations.
The Recipient Outreach Program
The Recipient Outreach Program provides the opportunity for Medal of Honor Recipients to continue serving our country by engaging with organizations that embody the core values of the Medal of Honor — courage, integrity, commitment, sacrifice, citizenship, and patriotism. Through public speaking engagements, forums, conventions and “fireside chat” panel discussions with youth, veteran/military organizations, and other professional and community organizations, the Recipient Outreach Program educates, informs, and creates a dialogue with audiences. This program is supported internally and is provided free of charge for requesting organizations.
